The Beautiful Brother of the Orion’s Family (Wearing Book) - 236

Wei Dong said, "The two of them really haven't been beaten since they were young."

This was also the reason why her children didn’t dare to get close to Wei Dong.

They were afraid of getting beaten.

Wei Zhonghong was very hot-tempered. Although she usually acted lively and had quite a volatile personality, her heart softened when facing her sons.

Thinking about the recent commotion at home, Wei Zhonghong's heart had hardened a lot.

After all, it wouldn't kill them; learning a lesson would be good for them.

Wei Dong saw her nod.

He raised an eyebrow and asked her, "Are you really willing?"

"What’s there to hesitate about? They’ve almost driven me mad." Wei Zhonghong snorted dismissively.

Wei Dong nodded and didn’t speak again, but he turned and walked toward the yard.

The two of them had almost reached the door, just one step away from opening it and going outside.

Wei Zhonghong was taken aback when Wei Dong suddenly turned around and walked back. She looked at him, puzzled, "What’s wrong?"

Wei Dong didn’t say anything and continued to walk back.

Wei Zhonghong's house had a nice courtyard, with two separate rooms built on either side of the main house. After the two younger brothers got married, they moved out to live in those rooms.

At that moment, the two daughters-in-law were still standing in place, watching Wei Dong leave, not expecting him to suddenly turn back.

Liu Shi smiled and leaned in, but Wei Dong dodged her and headed straight for the room they lived in.

Before she could react to what Wei Dong was about to do, she heard a blood-curdling scream from inside the room, like that of a pig being slaughtered.

Liu Shi was startled and quickly ran into the room.

It was her husband's voice!

Inside the room, Wei Dong had Wu Shouye pinned down on the kang, one hand pressing down on his neck and the other throwing punch after punch to his face.

Wu Shouye was screaming in pain, and his vision was going dark.

Seeing her husband's miserable condition, Liu Shi screamed and rushed over to pull Wei Dong, "Wei Dong! Stop it right now!"

Wei Dong waved his arm, directly throwing her to the ground.

Liu Shi was stunned by the fall and took a long time to get back up.

Wu Shouye had already fallen silent, his face covered in blood.

After releasing him, Wei Dong reached out and patted Wu Shouye's face, coldly saying, "Stop playing dead."

Wu Shouye managed to open his eyes, which were so swollen he could only barely crack them open.

“D-Dong, Dongzi…” he stuttered.

Wei Dong interrupted him, saying, "Auntie hasn't been sleeping well or eating well lately. Do you know why?"

Wu Shouye looked at him blankly and took a long time to nod.

Wei Dong nodded back, "Good. If Auntie doesn't eat well or sleep well again in the future, then I’ll beat you up again."

This time, Wu Shouye nodded vigorously.

Wei Dong turned and walked out, glancing at Liu Shi, who was sitting on the ground, staring blankly at him.

He smiled at her and left a parting remark: “Next time, I’ll beat you along with him too.” Then he walked out.

Afterward, he headed to the second room.

Having heard the screams coming from this side, Wei Shi already realized that Wei Dong was beating someone up.

Although she had been married for many years and had never seen Wei Dong take action, she had heard enough stories about him to be frightened. She quickly ran back into her room and bolted the door.

Inside, Wu Shouxin looked at her panicked expression in confusion and asked, "What’s going on? Did you finally provoke Mother, is she going to deal with you?"

Wei Shi shook her head, her face pale. "No, it's Wei Dong. He’s beating someone up!"

Wu Shouxin sat up abruptly, surprised. "What? He’s beating someone up?"

"Didn’t you hear?" Wei Shi pointed toward the outside, implying that the screams could be heard clearly.

Wu Shouxin scratched his head. Their house was separated from the old house by a few rooms in the main building. Even though they were in the same courtyard, the distance was quite far.

Once the door to the side room was closed, the cries and screams were practically inaudible.

“He can go beat whoever he wants; it has nothing to do with us, so why be afraid?” Though he said this, he didn’t suggest opening the door.

However, Wei Shi felt it was entirely different. Wei Dong had clearly walked to the courtyard door, then suddenly turned back, directly heading into the house and starting to beat someone up. It was impossible that he had been provoked!

Before the couple could figure out what was going on, there were two knocks on the door.

Wei Shi’s face changed, and she looked at Wu Shouxin with wide, fearful eyes.

Wu Shouxin also felt a shiver run down his spine. After swallowing hard, he asked, “Who—who is it?”

Wei Dong responded, “It’s me.”

“W-Who?” Wu Shouxin pretended to be clueless.

Wei Dong, feeling impatient, raised his foot and kicked the door with force. With a loud bang, the door was kicked open.

He walked into the room and chuckled at the extremely flustered Wu Shouxin, “Oh, you don’t recognize me anymore?”

Then, he reached out and grabbed him, swinging his fist and starting to hit him.

Wei Dong nearly replicated the actions he had just taken with Wu Shouye, showing no mercy at all.

Wu Shouxin was also screaming in pain, but his wife didn’t rush over to pull Wei Dong away.

Instead, she hid under the quilt on the kang, biting her lip tightly and trembling uncontrollably.

“Dongzi, Dongzi, I was wrong, I was wrong! Ahhh, don’t! Ahhhhhh~~~”

Wei Dong released his grip and asked, “What was wrong?”

Wu Shouxin, with swollen eyes and covered in blood, sobbed, “I-I was wrong for not treating my Mother well!”

Wei Dong nodded and continued to throw punches, saying, “Knowing it was wrong and still doing it is even worse.”

Wu Shouxin was beaten until he was unconscious. Wei Dong shook his hand and glanced at Wei Shi, who was hiding under the quilt. He coldly warned, “If I hear you two making a fuss with Auntie again, next time I won’t just beat him.”

Wei Shi nodded vigorously but didn’t dare to lift the quilt covering her head.

Wei Dong walked out and saw Wei Zhonghong standing in the courtyard. He smiled at her lightly and said, “Auntie, it’s done.”

Wei Zhonghong had already heard the screams of her two sons and felt a tremor in her heart when she saw the blood on Wei Dong's hands.

However, instead of blaming him for what happened to her sons, she was more concerned and asked, “Is your hand okay?”

Wei Dong shook his head, “I’m fine. If they start arguing again next time, Auntie can just call me, and I’ll go beat them again.”

He walked past Wei Zhonghong toward the door. “Auntie, don’t see me off; you can go back.”

Wei Zhonghong accompanied him to the door and only returned to the house after watching him drive away in the mule cart.

She didn’t even check to see what condition her ungrateful sons were in and went straight back to the main house.

In the mule cart, Liu Yao noticed the bloodstains on Wei Dong and the bruises on the back of his right hand. He was a bit surprised and asked, “Did you get into a fight?”

Wei Dong nodded, “Yeah, I gave those two ungrateful cousins a beating.”

Liu Yao let out a hiss. They had already heard quite a bit of gossip about the Wu family while in the cart.

Not one of those brothers or their wives was easy to deal with.

They truly deserved to be beaten.
