The Beautiful Brother of the Orion’s Family (Wearing Book) - 300

In a couple of days, Tang Erhu and the other’s will head to the shop. After staying home for over a month and with the weather no longer scorching, it was time to earn some money.

Ever since the divorce, Tang Erhu had been thinking more.

Especially since marrying Wang Cuicui, he began to use his brain more often, prompted by her reminders.

Take this moment, for example.

Wang Cuicui was in the room packing. Since it was just a short trip, they didn't need to bring too many clothes—just two sets of changes.

After folding their clothes and placing them together, she turned to look at Tang Erhu sitting absentmindedly by the bed. With some confusion, she waved her hand in front of his eyes, "Erhu? What are you thinking about?"

Tang Erhu snapped out of it. Noticing that she was almost done packing, he reached over to help tie the bundle. "Didn't my sister-in-law ask us to help find a good match for Da Niu in town? I was thinking about someone suitable."

Wang Cuicui frowned. She poured two cups of water, handed one to him, and sat down beside him. Somewhat unsure, she said, "Do you think it’s really okay for Da Niu to come with us?"

To be honest, when she heard Tang Xu mention at dinner that Tang Mei wanted to go with them to town to help run the shop, Wang Cuicui felt a bit conflicted.

Tang Erhu turned to look at her after hearing her question. "Why? You don’t want Da Niu to come along?"

"No," Wang Cuicui shook her head. "I'm just worried that she might not adapt to it and may not be able to handle it." She thought for a moment and then voiced her concerns to Tang Erhu.

"Da Niu has been divorced for over half a year now, but there's been no news from her ex-husband. Even my brother and sister-in-law have been saying she should remarry soon, but look at Xu Ge'er’s attitude—he clearly doesn’t want his cousin to rush into another marriage. If Da Niu comes with us to the town and then someone proposes to her, what should we do?"

In short, they weren’t her parents, just her uncle and aunt. They had no right to interfere in her marriage, but they were still worried that speaking too much could upset Tang Mei, and that could damage their otherwise harmonious relationship.

Although Tang Erhu understood her concerns, he didn’t think it was a problem.

"Xu Ge’er isn’t unreasonable. It’s not like Da Niu would marry the first person she meets. She’ll at least consult her parents. I actually think Da Niu doesn’t want to remarry. Whenever my sister-in-law brings up the topic, Da Niu interrupts her several times."

Wang Cuicui was still a little worried, mainly about not getting along well with Tang Mei.

Tang Erhu noticed this, reached out, and pulled her shoulder, comforting her, "You’ve spent a whole month with Da Niu, what’s there to worry about?"

Wang Cuicui sighed, "Alright, I hope there won’t be any problems."

At the same time, Tang Mei was talking to her son, reminding him to always listen to Tang Xu and take care of his younger brothers.

Sun Yang obediently listened, nodding as he did.

Once his mother finished speaking, the boy asked, "Mom, how long will you be gone? Will I not see you anymore?"

Tang Mei pulled him into her arms, gently patting his back, and softly replied, "Don’t talk nonsense. How could you not see your mom? I’ll be gone for about a month, but your auntie is busy with the wedding dress and can’t leave. So, I’ll be going to help her family out."

Sun Yang felt much better and snuggled against her, a little shy as he rubbed his face against hers. "Mom, don’t worry. I’ll be good and not cause any trouble."

Tang Mei felt a pang of tenderness, kissing his forehead. "You don’t have to be so formal. Just be like you are now, that’s enough. Your Uncle Xu won’t be hard on you. If you’re too polite, he might even get upset."

Sun Yang nodded. "I know, Mom."

In the main room, Tang Xu was also folding clothes. The three children were playing on the bed, with Wei Dong lying beside them, lifting one up, then dragging another by their feet, causing the kids to squeal excitedly.

"Alright, alright, stop screaming. Your throats are going to get sore," Tang Xu reminded them, not for the first time.

Unfortunately, the three kids obeyed for a moment, but after a while, they began shouting again.

Tang Xu placed the folded clothes in the cupboard, then turned and shot a glare at Wei Dong.

"Quickly take them to wash up," Tang Xu said. "What time is it? They're still not asleep. Tomorrow morning. Don't you have to take the car to take Dad and the others to town early tomorrow morning?"

Wei Dong nodded, lifting Xiao Bao who had been lying on his chest and placing him on the bed. He stood up and ruffled his head. "Come on, let’s go wash up."

The chubby boy and Er Bao immediately followed their father's command, climbing down from the bed to put on their shoes.

However, Xiao Bao stayed lying on the bed, swinging his legs and covering his face with his little hands, pretending not to listen.

Wei Dong turned to look at him and poked his cheek with his finger. "What’s wrong?"

Xiao Bao tilted his head, avoiding his father's finger, and smiled with his big eyes.

Tang Xu explained, "Yesterday, Old Wen said that we should take him to wash separately. He understood what was said."

Wei Dong was stunned. "Why?"

"He's three now. He needs to understand that he's a ger and distinguish himself from boys," Tang Xu replied, a bit helplessly.

He had always treated his three sons equally, never thinking much about their gender differences.

But Old Wen had specifically mentioned it to him, advising that Xiao Bao should understand from a young age that he is different from his two older brothers, as a form of protection for him.

Wei Dong raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "He’s so young, and you're worried about that?"

"Forget it," Tang Xu waved his hand. "You take them to wash, and I’ll take Xiao Bao to wash later."

Wei Dong said, "Alright." He got off the bed, grabbed one son under each arm, and shook them, causing both kids to scream in surprise.

Seeing him carry the two kids out like that, Tang Xu held back from shouting and called, "Slow down, don’t drop them!"

"I know!" Wei Dong replied.

Tang Xu rolled his eyes, then turned to look at Xiao Bao, who was still lying on the bed. He walked over and patted his little bottom. "Get up, what are you lying there for?"

Xiao Bao puckered his little lips and grumbled, "Dad, hug me."

"Hug you? It's so hot! Get up quickly, Dad's going to make the bed, can you help?" Tang Xu pulled him up and began taking out the bedding and bamboo mat from the cupboard.

Xiao Bao stuck out his little bum and helped Tang Xu spread the bedding, working hard and making little grunting noises.

Once the bed was made, the little guy immediately flopped down on the bamboo mat, spreading out in a big star shape and not moving.

Tang Xu laughed and poked his belly. "What's wrong, are you tired?"

Xiao Bao nodded seriously. "Daddy, I’m tired."

"You’re tired after just doing that little bit of work? What are you going to do then?" Tang Xu pinched his nose and pulled him up. "I’m going to check how your auntie is doing with her packing. Do you want to come with me?"

"Yes!" Xiao Bao leaned into his arms, lifting his arms to wrap around his neck, his legs also playfully curling around him.

Tang Xu looked down at him, who clung to him like a little gecko, and chuckled as he poked his forehead. "So lazy, you don’t want to walk a single step. Who did you take after?"

Xiao Bao buried his face in Tang Xu’s neck and refused to move.

Tang Xu, still holding him, went to Tang Mei’s room. She had already packed a bundle. Sun Yang was sitting by the bed, washing his feet, while Tang Mei was feeding Goudan.

"Did you finish packing?" Tang Xu asked.

Tang Mei adjusted her collar, then gently laid Goudan on the little bed. She smiled and nodded. "All done. What brings you over?"

"I thought I’d come check if you missed anything, but it seems like you’ve got everything. Just make sure you don’t forget anything for the kid," Tang Xu said as he placed Xiao Bao on the bed. "Be gentle, don’t wake your little brother."

Xiao Bao obediently nodded and sat next to Sun Yang.
