Brother, you smell good - 88

① Campus Forum

After Shen Yu and Cheng Mofei got together, they became even more openly affectionate.

Following the deletion of the previous post, the campus forum started a new thread about them.

[Why do I feel more and more like these two are dating? Keywords: Chemistry, Finance]

[Ears perked up for gossip! Front row selling sunflower seeds, milk tea, and little orange cats...]

[Emmm, these two have been attending classes together a lot recently. Not the kind of waiting for each other after school to go to the cafeteria, but one of them actually accompanying the other for a whole lecture.]

[Isn't it normal for brothers to attend classes together? Yanda University doesn’t restrict students from joining another class; maybe they just genuinely want to learn about each other’s majors.]

[I even saw them holding hands.]

[Holding hands between brothers is normal too.]

[They even went to the movies together.]

[Haven’t you ever watched a movie with your brother or besties? I go to the cinema with my dorm buddies all the time.]

[They’re obviously dating. They even made it official on their social media. Someone in this thread needs to accept reality.]

[………(I’m the clown)]

Cheng Mofei shared the post with Shen Yu.

After reading it, Shen Yu casually replied: “That straight guy is a lot like you used to be.”

Cheng Mofei: “……”

Thinking about it carefully, Cheng Mofei found himself unable to refute.

②KTV

After getting together, the four roommates went out for their first group bonding activity at a KTV after having dinner at the mall.

Sun Xinghe sang completely off-key, while Xiao Xiong, on the other hand, had a surprisingly pleasant voice and immediately queued up several songs as soon as they entered the private room.

"How about you two sing a love song together?" Xiao Xiong glanced at the couple sticking close to each other on the side.

Shen Yu wasn’t particularly fond of singing—his skill level was about the same as Sun Xinghe’s off-key disaster. He would only occasionally hum a few lines.

Upon hearing this suggestion, he cast a sidelong glance at Cheng Mofei and said casually, "I picked a song for you. You sing it for me."

"Sure," Cheng Mofei agreed readily. "But I might not know it."

Shen Yu curled his lips slightly. "Don’t worry, you will."

A moment later, as soon as Sun Xinghe’s song ended, Shen Yu swiftly pushed his chosen song to the top of the queue and stuffed the microphone into Cheng Mofei’s hand.

The instant Cheng Mofei saw the song title, he completely froze.

Meanwhile, Shen Yu stood there with his arms crossed, watching him with an expression of pure amusement, making it clear—he had to sing it to the end.

Cheng Mofei swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he gritted his teeth and brought the microphone to his mouth, a look of absolute dread on his face.

"Brother, give me a hug and say what's on your mind..."

When Shen Yu heard this line, a satisfied smile spread across his face.

Back when Cheng Mofei was still a "straight guy," this was the song he had recorded at KTV during a dinner gathering.

He had remembered it ever since.

Now, it was time for Cheng Mofei to experience how it felt back then.

Finally, when the last line of the song was sung, Cheng Mofei hastily hit the button to skip the song and switched it to another one, titled "Wifey is the Greatest".

Shen Yu: "..."

③Driver's license test

In his previous life, Shen Yu never managed to get a driver's license, but this time, he decided to get one during his college years.

Having a car license would be useful for road trips with Cheng Mofei, where they could take turns driving, and also take their moms out for fun.

It was a new skill, and it couldn't hurt to have.

Besides, as a guy, he figured he should probably have some interest in cars.

However, he had night blindness, so he wasn’t too keen on driving at night. Even if he got the license, it was likely he’d only drive during the day.

Cheng Mofei had already noticed Shen Yu’s night blindness, so he bought some fresh carrots and made sure to peel one every day for him to snack on.

He’d also pick Shen Yu up from evening classes without missing a single day, even though the campus was well-lit with streetlights everywhere.

...

After signing up for driving school, Shen Yu practiced driving every day. Sometimes, when Cheng Mofei didn’t have classes, he would accompany him. Other times, when Cheng Mofei had classes or other unavoidable matters, Shen Yu would go alone.

There were quite a few college students at the driving school, from various universities in Yancheng City. Shen Yu made a few friends, and while waiting for the car, they’d sit together and chat.

"Shen Yu, do you have a girlfriend?" one girl, about the same age as him, asked in what seemed like a gossipy tone.

Shen Yu had a pretty good idea of what was going on. Since the news of him and Cheng Mofei being together spread around Yanda University, he hadn’t encountered any direct pursuits.

He didn’t expect to face one at the driving school. He raised an eyebrow slightly and, with a hint of mischievousness, answered, "No girlfriend."

The girl’s eyes brightened.

But then Shen Yu quickly followed up with, "But I have a boyfriend."

The girl: "!"

The girl’s eyes went wide with surprise, her heartbeat quickening as she instantly realized something. Eagerly, she asked, "Is that handsome guy you were with yesterday your boyfriend?"

Shen Yu nodded, giving a confirming answer.

The girl sighed and said, "These days, all the handsome guys are taken."

...

Shen Yu didn’t share this little incident with Cheng Mofei, knowing how much of a jealous person he could be. He was afraid the “vinegar jar” would be tipped over and stay sour for days.

The driving test went smoothly. Shen Yu passed both the second and third practical exams on his first try, and the written exams for the first and fourth subjects were a breeze—easy as pie.

On the day he got his driver’s license, Cheng Mofei took him to a quieter, less populated area in the suburbs to go for a drive.

Shen Yu drove steadily, neither too fast nor too slow—just the right pace.

After cruising for a while, the sky gradually darkened, and Shen Yu, not wanting to drive after dark, stopped the car by the side of the road and was about to switch seats with Cheng Mofei.

But just as the car came to a halt, the person in the passenger seat leaned over and kissed him.

Shen Yu was startled. Being outdoors, there was a possibility of someone seeing them.

Although, honestly, even if someone did see, it wouldn't matter much—it was just a kiss.

Besides, it was dark by now, and the suburbs were nearly empty. Even if a car passed by, it would be speeding, not stopping, and definitely not paying attention to the car parked by the side of the road.

Still, Shen Yu had a bit of a conservative side, and he almost never kissed Cheng Mofei in public.

He didn’t exactly mind it, though.

After the kiss ended, Cheng Mofei rested his forehead against Shen Yu's and, in a muffled voice, said, "The comic says it's okay to do it in the car."

Shen Yu: "?"

Did his brain get damaged by reading comics?

Cheng Mofei quickly tried to clarify, "No, no, not like this… I mean, once we buy a house and have our own garage, could we… could we maybe do it in the car in the garage?"

Shen Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Of course, Cheng Mofei wouldn’t be absurd enough to suggest doing something like that in broad daylight in the car. The garage at home was a different matter, though.

"Okay," Shen Yu replied readily.

...

Unfortunately, after Cheng Mofei graduated, his family bought him a large flat near Yanda University, not a villa with an independent garage.

There weren’t many good villas near Yanda University, and the best option was that large flat.

Shen Yu almost forgot about the conversation until one day Cheng Mofei suddenly told him he had bought a seaside villa.

At first, Shen Yu just assumed the villa was for occasional getaways—maybe to enjoy the beach, stroll along the shore, and watch the sunrise and sunset.

Until Cheng Mofei excitedly drove into the garage of the villa, closed the garage door, and took out the orange-flavored condom that had been prepared in advance from his pocket.

Shen Yu was silent.

...

The distance between the villas was quite large, and the garage was specially soundproofed due to Cheng Mofei’s personal preference.

The space inside the car was narrow, and there wasn't much room for large movements.

It was precisely because of this that there was a more fresh experience compared to usual.

④ Xiao Cheng got drunk

Cheng Mofei had a good tolerance for alcohol, but since he had just graduated, his tolerance was not great either.

During the New Year, the uncles and aunts at home liked to persuade others to drink, especially Cheng Mofei, who had just started getting involved in the family business.

Cheng Mofei drank quite a lot that night, and by the time he was on his way home, his mind was no longer clear.

Shen Yu didn’t like to drive at night, so he had the family’s driver take them home.

Shen Yu held Cheng Mofei as they sat in the back seat. Perhaps due to the car's swaying, Cheng Mofei, leaning against him, was relatively quiet.

However, after returning home, Cheng Mofei's true nature soon showed.

Thinking that Cheng Mofei was drunk, Shen Yu directly took him to the bedroom, laying him down in bed. He planned for Cheng Mofei to take a bath the next day after sobering up.

After all, Cheng Mofei was large in size, and if he started causing a scene in the bathroom while drunk, it would be hard to control him.

After settling Cheng Mofei in, Shen Yu went straight to the bathroom and quickly took a shower.

When Shen Yu returned, Cheng Mofei was still lying obediently on the bed but hadn’t fallen asleep. Instead, he was staring unblinkingly.

Shen Yu turned off the main bedroom light, switched on the bedside lamp, and slipped under the covers.

The blanket was already incredibly warm from Cheng Mofei’s body heat.

As soon as Shen Yu lay down, Cheng Mofei suddenly hugged him.

It wasn’t a big deal—after all, Cheng Mofei often did this.

But then, a sentence exploded in his ear: "Brother, you smell so good."

Shen Yu: "???"

Shen Yu’s entire face was filled with question marks, not knowing what he was thinking.

What did Cheng Mofei call him? Brother???

If Shen Yu remembered correctly, that was how Cheng Mofei addressed him when they had first met in this lifetime.

He had heard before that some people, after getting drunk, would become confused, unable to distinguish their current identity or age. Could it be that Cheng Mofei was also…

A ridiculous thought popped into Shen Yu’s mind out of nowhere. He subconsciously asked, "You wouldn’t happen to be a homophobic straight guy, would you?"

It was truly absurd. The moment he asked, even he felt ridiculous.

Yet, Cheng Mofei nodded quickly and, in a drunken haze, replied, "Yeah."

Shen Yu: "…"

Grandpa’s treasured vintage wine… was actually fake, wasn’t it?!

Cheng Mofei clung to him tightly, his entire body pressing against Shen Yu’s, holding on especially tight, his nose nuzzling messily into the crook of his neck.

"Brother, you smell so good."

"Brother, I want to kiss you."

"Brother… brother…"

"Can we do it?"

Shen Yu: "…"

He really shouldn’t have used that orange-scented body wash tonight.
