Brother, you smell good - 79

Just like with kissing, Cheng Mofei was still clumsy and had little experience in taking care of others.

His only advantage was his large hands, with fingertips covered in a thin layer of calluses that felt quite comfortable.

Shen Yu occasionally guided him with a few words. Cheng Mofei had decent comprehension skills and learned quickly.

...

There was no way to soak in the bath anymore. Cheng Mofei simply carried the soft and exhausted Shen Yu out of the bathtub, and the two of them rinsed off under the shower with the familiar orange-scented body wash.

Originally, Cheng Mofei had planned to help Shen Yu scrub his body after the bath, but after their “mutual assistance” took so long, Shen Yu was feeling a bit tired.

Since they had to pick up Fang Xiang early the next morning, they skipped the scrubbing, put on their pajamas, and went straight under the covers.

Cheng Mofei’s pajamas were a bit too big for Shen Yu. The sleeves covered most of his hands, and the pant legs extended far past his ankles.

However, seeing the person you like wearing your clothes, the feeling was simply wonderful.

If compared to small animals, it would be like licking the other’s fur or rubbing your own fur all over them, leaving behind your unique scent and mark. The possessiveness was instantly and greatly satisfied.

Speaking of clothes, last year, for Sun Xinghe's birthday, his partner had given him a couple's hoodie. Cheng Mofei secretly decided that he also needed to buy more couple clothes with Shen Yu.

The bed in the bedroom was much more comfortable than the one in the dorm. It was both soft and spacious.

As soon as Cheng Mofei lay down on the bed, he immediately pulled Shen Yu into his arms, kissed his lips, and placed his hand on his back, pressing closer to him.

Earlier in the bathroom, he had been too nervous, focusing all his attention on his hands and hadn’t dared to kiss Shen Yu. Now, he finally had the chance to kiss him.

The bedroom door had been locked as soon as they came in, and the curtains were drawn tightly, so there was no worry about being disturbed.

After soaking in the bath, Shen Yu felt completely soft and limp, allowing himself to be handled at will.

Unlike the simple touches from before, after studying some essential techniques, Cheng Mofei boldly sucked on the soft lips, occasionally using his teeth to nibble gently, clumsily exploring.

He had made significant progress—at the very least, he had learned how to breathe properly and wouldn’t end up suffocating himself just from a kiss.

Shen Yu cooperatively parted his lips slightly, lightly licking Cheng Mofei’s lips, enticing his tongue to venture inside.

Back in the dormitory or at school, they never dared to kiss so indulgently, but tonight, they could fully enjoy themselves.

Cheng Mofei’s room had excellent soundproofing, and it was far from the master bedroom, so there was no need to worry even if they made some noise.

They kissed for a long time, so long that their lips began to feel numb before they reluctantly pulled away.

They had to pick someone up early the next morning, it wouldn’t be good if their lips ended up swollen.

Holding onto Cheng Mofei’s waist, Shen Yu buried his head in the crook of his neck, comfortably closing his eyes and quickly falling asleep.

Cheng Mofei, however, was too excited to sleep.

Not only had they helped each other out with their hands tonight, but they had also indulged in a long, passionate kiss.

Shen Yu’s tongue was so soft… Everything about him was adorable… Especially little Yu.

Without realizing it, Cheng Mofei rubbed his chin lightly against the top of Shen Yu’s head, feeling unbearably ticklish in his heart, and couldn’t resist placing a soft kiss on his hair.

Shen Yu was already fast asleep, his arm around Cheng Mofei’s waist slackening slightly, his breathing slow and even.

Carefully, Cheng Mofei put a little distance between them, pressing a gentle kiss to Shen Yu’s forehead and cheek.

In the end, he still couldn’t resist—his lips found their way back to Shen Yu’s soft mouth.

He was afraid of waking him, so he could only nibble lightly.

Kissing was truly addictive.

For the first time, Cheng Mofei felt his self-control slipping away so badly.

His Adam’s apple bobbed quickly.

Just a little more… just for a little while…

But one kiss led to another—before he knew it, he had kissed until dawn.

The next morning, when Shen Yu groggily woke up, he immediately felt that his lips were a bit swollen.

Walking over to the mirror, he took one look and good grief, his lips were really puffy.

Meeting the guilty gaze of the person standing behind him in the reflection, Shen Yu tugged the corner of his mouth into a humorless smile and asked,

“Care to explain?”

Cheng Mofei’s lips, on the other hand, were perfectly fine—not swollen in the slightest.

After all, he was the one doing all the nibbling and biting.

He had gone straight to sleep after secretly kissing Shen Yu last night, completely oblivious to the consequences.

Now, realizing the situation, Cheng Mofei immediately dropped to his knees in surrender. “I’m sorry… I couldn’t sleep last night and couldn’t help but secretly kiss you for a little while.”

Was it really just “a little while”?

Shen Yu seriously doubted that.

But seeing Cheng Mofei looking all guilty, like a puppy that had just been caught doing something wrong, Shen Yu found it pretty amusing. He wasn’t actually mad.

After all, Cheng Mofei was only nineteen, barely an adult. It was understandable that after getting a taste of sweetness, he’d lose control a little.

If this had been thirty-year-old Cheng Mofei, though… well, then he’d definitely be getting a proper lecture.

Shen Yu sighed and said, “Get me a cold compress. Do we still have that ointment from last time?”

"Yes! We still have it!" Cheng Mofei immediately sprang into action like an eager little helper.

Facing the mirror, Shen Yu raised a hand to touch his lips. It wasn’t too bad—the swelling wasn’t severe and would probably go down in a day or two.

Good thing only his lips are swollen.

If both of their lips were puffy, they wouldn’t even need to bother coming up with an excuse.

At 8:30 AM, Fang Xiang’s flight finally landed at Yancheng Airport.

Since the airport was in the suburbs, the two had set out a little after 7 AM to get there on time.

When it came to Shen Yu, his childhood friend, Cheng Mofei felt both guilty and ashamed.

After all, he had treated the guy as his imaginary rival for such a long time and had secretly complained about him behind his back more times than he could count. Truly sinful behavior.

Originally, Cheng Mofei had wanted to drive Shen Yu himself to pick up Fang Xiang, but since his previous injury hadn’t fully healed yet, Shen Yu refused. Left with no other choice, he settled for having his dad arrange a car for them instead.

Navigating the airport was a bit tricky, so it took them some time to finally meet up.

From a distance, Fang Xiang immediately noticed the mask covering Shen Yu’s face and asked with concern, “Why are you wearing a mask? Are you sick?”

Shen Yu took the suitcase from Fang Xiang’s hand and shook his head, smoothly delivering the excuse he had prepared in advance. “No, I just ate too many sugar oranges lately and got a bit of a sore, so my lips are swollen.”

Fang Xiang nodded in understanding, letting out an “Ohh, that makes sense.” He didn’t doubt it for a second. “No wonder you smell like oranges. You really shouldn’t binge on those things.”

Shen Yu: “…Haha, yeah.”

Cheng Mofei, feeling incredibly guilty, didn’t dare to say a word.

In a way… Fang Xiang wasn’t exactly wrong. His lips had swollen because he got a little too carried away with a certain “orange.”

After picking up Fang Xiang, the three of them headed straight back to Yancheng University.

The entire ride, Fang Xiang was glued to the window, mesmerized by the snowy scenery. The moment they got out of the car, he couldn’t resist diving straight into a pile of snow.

For a Southerner who had rarely seen snow, happiness was truly this simple.

Meanwhile, Cheng Mofei remained unusually quiet the entire way, his guilt rendering him uncharacteristically reserved. In Fang Xiang’s mind, this only solidified his impression of Cheng Mofei as a cold and aloof tough guy.

Seizing a moment when Cheng Mofei stepped away, Fang Xiang leaned in and whispered to Shen Yu, “Your boyfriend is so cold and aloof. He barely said a word. Is he always like this?”

Shen Yu nearly burst out laughing. Of course, he couldn’t tell Fang Xiang the real reason, so he decided to mess with him instead.

“He has a social phobia. He doesn’t even dare to eat at Haidilao for hotpot.”

A few days later, while the dorm mates were discussing where to go for a nice, steaming hot pot meal, Xiao Xiong suggested Haidilao. "They have student discounts, plus there's fun stuff to do, and the atmosphere is great."

Before anyone else could respond, Fang Xiang quickly glanced at Cheng Mofei and immediately shot down the idea. "No, no, no. Their service is too enthusiastic, I can’t handle it. Let’s pick another place."

Shen Yu was trying so hard to hold back his laughter that his face was turning red.

Cheng Mofei: "?"

Why does something feel off?

Since he was staying in Shen Yu’s dorm, Fang Xiang had thoughtfully brought some Southern specialties as gifts for his roommates.

Taking Shen Yu’s advice, he had also started making food-related videos, sharing vlogs of a food science student experimenting with different recipes in the lab.

The moment Xiao Xiong heard about this, he lit up like he had found a kindred spirit, and the two instantly launched into an enthusiastic conversation.

In addition, Fang Xiang’s parents had sent along some homemade food for Shen Yu’s mother, including a jar of pickled radish that she especially loved.

After all, she had lived in that region for many years. Though she had suffered hardships and disappointments, there were still some fond memories tied to that place.

As luck would have it, Shen Yu was planning to visit his mother and decided to bring Cheng Mofei and Fang Xiang along.

One was her son’s boyfriend.

The other was her son’s childhood friend, the child of an old neighbor with whom she had once had a good relationship.

Shen Xunyan was overjoyed. She prepared a spread of dishes, fruits, and snacks, eager to host them. She even offered to let Fang Xiang stay at her house, considering that five people squeezed into the dorm might be a bit cramped. With a guest room available, he would have a much more comfortable stay.

However, Fang Xiang politely declined saying it was more fun to live with others of the same age.

Shen Xunyan understood and didn’t press the issue.

During Fang Xiang’s stay, Shen Yu gave up his bed for him and went to sleep in Cheng Mofei’s room instead.

Before this, Shen Yu had always worried about Cheng Mofei’s lower back injury. He felt that the dorm bed was too narrow, and squeezing together wouldn’t be good for recovery, so he had repeatedly refused to share a bed with him.

Cheng Mofei, of course, didn’t think it would make any difference.

But with Fang Xiang around, Shen Yu had no choice but to make do. Every night, he curled up at the edge of the bed, letting Cheng Mofei hold him.

Because of this, when it was time for Fang Xiang to leave, Cheng Mofei actually felt a little reluctant to see him go.

But there was no helping it. It was exam season, and Fang Xiang had to return for his classes and test prep. Just being able to take these few days off to visit had already been a rare opportunity.

Despite their reluctance, the two still took him to the airport and saw him off.

As expected, the day after Fang Xiang left, Shen Yu had to “separate” from Cheng Mofei.

Cheng Mofei lay on his bed, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep.

The lonely night, the empty blanket, his boyfriend was just under a meter away, yet he had to sleep alone.

Finally, around 1 AM, a figure quietly lifted the curtain of Shen Yu’s bed and slipped under the covers with him.
