All the toy cars came to a stop, and everyone returned the cars together.

The old lady probably liked Lu Xu a lot and gave him a star-shaped hair clip, saying, "Bangs in the eyes are not good, why don't you clip it up?"

Lu Xu had hardly received gifts from strangers before. He took the small hair clip, lifted his pretty red eyes, and said, "Thank you, Grandma!"

The kind old lady affectionately patted Lu Xu's head and then returned to her small chair, waiting for the next child to come play with the toy cars.

Because they had all experienced a little embarrassment together, the atmosphere among them lightened considerably, and Lu Xu wasn't as timid anymore.

Rong Que took the hair clip and helped Lu Xu clip up his hair, fixing the beret in place as well. "This way, your eyes won't be covered when you eat."

Lu Xu touched the small clip on his forehead, and his eyes brightened.

The clip was relatively small and couldn't reveal Lu Xu's entire forehead, so Rong Que only clipped the longer strands of hair. Looking like this, Lu Xu's hair seemed to have a nice shape with a beautiful curve.

The star pattern added a touch of vitality to the shy Lu Xu and perfectly complemented the beret.

Seeing Lu Xu so happy, Rong Que couldn't help but smile.

The few single men among them lacked experience and hadn't thought about buying clips to hold up their bangs.

However, from now on, they could buy more cute clips and hats for Lu Xu.

After fixing the hair clip, Qu Sui took a few more photos, teasing Lu Xu until he felt a bit embarrassed. Then, they all entered the fast-food restaurant together.

Rong Que was in a good mood, but as they walked in, he suddenly felt a gaze tightly fixed on them.

This feeling of being watched was too familiar.

Rong Que quickly turned his head, but there was no one strange in his field of vision, and the uncomfortable gaze disappeared.

"What's wrong?" Qi Sui noticed Rong Que's unusual reaction, and his tone became serious.

Rong Que shook his head, confirming his feelings were correct but not wanting to scare Lu Xu. "It's nothing."

Qi Sui acknowledged with an "oh," not paying too much attention. Before Lu Xu's transformation, he had hardly encountered any danger. "Choose whatever you want to eat; it's on me."

Despite his generous offer, Lu Xu and Rong Que were too small to eat much. The current fast-food restaurants still required ordering at the counter. Lu Xu hadn't eaten out before, so he didn't know what to choose.

When it was their turn, Qi Sui lifted Lu Xu up to let him make a selection.

Due to the beret pressing down on his ears, Lu Xu looked like he was cosplaying, so his red eyes didn't attract much attention.

Qi Sui held Lu Xu, and Lu Xu looked at the menu on the counter. He then extended his little hand and pointed to a cute dessert.

"Is there anything else you want? This won't be enough to fill you up." Qi Sui wanted to order more to make sure Lu Xu had plenty, but he saw Lu Xu shaking his head.

Lu Xu had always been a child with very low demands.

Afraid that the child might still be hungry, Qi Sui ordered two kids' meals, which should be enough for both children.

Rong Que wasn't very interested in these foods and didn't say much.

After ordering, everyone found a seat. The restaurant was quite busy, and only a few window-side seats were left.

As soon as Rong Que sat down, he felt that gaze again.

He looked up and saw only a few parents with children playing outside the window.

No matter how he looked at it, they didn't seem like people deliberately following them.

"Brother Rong Que, look." Lu Xu's sweet voice drew Rong Que's attention back.

The kids' meals came with two small figurines. As it was in blind-box form, Rong Que handed his box directly to Lu Xu to open and play with.

Lu Xu opened his box to find a snow-white long-haired cat figurine. Then, holding Rong Que's blind box, he looked at it mysteriously and made a wish.

Rong Que watched Lu Xu's serious expression and patiently accompanied him.

Before Lu Xu opened the box, he glanced at Rong Que, making sure he wasn't looking at anything else, and then suddenly moved his hand away.

In Rong Que's box, there was a figurine of a big dog.

Lu Xu happily examined it for a while and said, "This big dog looks a lot like Brother Rong Que!"

It was a German Shepherd model wearing a police dog outfit, looking all black.

Qi Sui chuckled on the side, and Rong Que wasn't quite sure why Lu Xu thought he resembled a German Shepherd.

But as long as Lu Xu was happy.

Lu Xu carefully arranged the two figurines neatly on the table.

The figurines varied in size and shape, but with Lu Xu's arrangement, they seemed to be cuddling together.

"This one is Brother Rong Que, and this one is Xiao Lu." Lu Xu pointed at the two models, introducing them to Qi Sui.

The two small figurines kept Lu Xu entertained for quite a while.

Even Qi Sui, who typically had no interest in these small items, couldn't help but develop a fondness for them.

After arranging the figurines, Lu Xu began to earnestly enjoy his little dessert and kids' meal.

Lu Xu ate quietly, his face showing a serene expression. His two hands held the food with a sense of reverence, resembling a little bunny enjoying its meal.
