The Evil Cub Surrounded by Reborn Ones- Chapter 22

 TECSBRO-(22)

Hearing this, Rong Que couldn't help it and reluctantly proposed the idea of swinging two people at the same time.

Lu Xu seemed to enjoy pushing others, and he enthusiastically started pushing.

The polite Lu Xu first asked Tao Yue about the desired intensity. Tao Yue, having observed the two playing for a while, knew that Lu Xu liked it higher and suggested, "Lu Xu, you can make it higher."

"Okay." Lu Xu cheerfully accepted and began gently pushing Rong Que, then went to push Tao Yue.

Running back and forth, he seemed very busy.

After a while, the teacher in charge of the activities, approached them. She frowned slightly and said, "Children, you need to take turns swinging on the swing. You can't just let Lu Xu push all the time."

Although Lu Xu played excitedly, he knew to stop when talking to the teacher. He turned around and answered, "Teacher Li, I like pushing the swing."

Before Teacher Li could respond, she saw Tao Yue's swing, which had just swung very high, about to hit Lu Xu, who had stopped in the middle.

Worried, she hurried over, picked up Lu Xu, and moved him to the side.

Rong Que and Tao Yue, seeing the situation, tried their best to stop the swing and came over to check on Lu Xu.

However, Lu Xu still looked confused. Children's thinking is not yet mature, and he didn't realize that if he didn't push, the swing would come back.

Teacher Li was initially concerned that Lu Xu, being a timid child, would be scared, but seeing that he was fine, she sighed in relief.

She wanted to go back to check on the other children but decided to remind them about swing safety, such as not turning sideways when swinging and not getting too close to others on the swing.

Lu Xu nodded seriously, looking very earnest, as if he understood the importance of the instructions.

After Teacher Li finished speaking, Lu Xu wanted to continue swinging. After the two sat down, he gave a serious expression and said to Rong Que and Tao Yue, "You guys need to be careful, okay?"

This made everyone unable to hold back their laughter.

Teacher Li really liked Lu Xu's doll-like appearance and couldn't help but stop and watch for a while. Seeing that Lu Xu was indeed very happy, despite being a bit tired, she was amazed at how quickly his little short legs could move.

There didn't seem to be any unhappiness from continuously swinging on the swing. She had mediated many conflicts among children before, but this was the first time she encountered such a situation.

Perhaps, in their case, there was no conflict to begin with.

"Xiao Lu, don't tire yourself out too much, okay?" Teacher Li, spinning around to attend to other children, couldn't help but express some reluctance before leaving.

After walking to a safe spot where he wouldn't get hit, Lu Xu raised his delicate little face and said, "Okay, thank you, Teacher Li."

Seeing that Lu Xu really took her advice to heart, Teacher Li couldn't help but show a gentle smile.

Children at this age tend to forget things easily, but cute kids like Lu Xu make it hard to be stern with them.

The atmosphere remained relatively relaxed until the end of the class.

The teacher led everyone in a queue to the cafeteria for lunch.

Each class had its designated area, ensuring that it wouldn't get too crowded.

As the tables were arranged according to the seating in the classrooms, Lu Xu and his friends sat together at one table.

The kindergarten provided healthy meals, including two meat dishes, two vegetarian dishes, a bowl of soup, and fruits distributed by Teacher Li after the meal.

Lu Xu ate at a slower pace, and after finishing their meal, everyone could go back to the dormitory to rest with their friends.

The only ones left at the table waiting for Lu Xu were Rong Que and Tao Yue. Originally, Cai You also wanted to wait, but Lu Xu insisted that he go ahead.

Tao Yue, on the other hand, couldn't eat and just stared at Lu Xu, trying to get his attention. Lu Xu was earnestly nibbling on the stems of the vegetables and didn't respond to Tao Yue's teasing about eating like a little rabbit.

Rong Que finished eating last because he was still figuring out ways to feed Lu Xu more meat. He carefully selected the pieces of meat with better textures for Lu Xu and occasionally put the ones Lu Xu couldn't finish, especially the greasier ones, back into his own plate.

Every time Rong Que fed Lu Xu, Tao Yue would look on with envy, but he had already finished the meat in his own bowl and couldn't experience that joy anymore.

Teacher Li needed to stay until all the children finished their meals before leaving.

Seeing that Rong Que would feed Lu Xu, which should have been discouraged since the kindergarten aimed to foster everyone's life skills, but Lu Xu wasn't completely unable to eat by himself. He just struggled with picking the meat and couldn't handle greasier pieces. Teacher Li pretended not to notice since Lu Xu was an adorable child, and there was no need to worry about him developing bad habits.

After finishing the meal and handing in the plates together, Rong Que took out tissues and carefully wiped Lu Xu's mouth. Though Tao Yue had been following them, he hadn't said a word, acting like a loyal companion, just tagging along.

Back in the dormitory, the kindergarten's naptime was quite sufficient. It was only then that Rong Que remembered to take out the pajamas he bought for Lu Xu.

There was a set of white and a set of green—looking relatively normal. However, when he opened them, he couldn't help but fall silent.

Silently changing Lu Xu into the new pajamas, he reluctantly put on his own. Lu Xu was delighted, playing with the ears of the clothes for a long time. Rong Que had to endure the mocking gaze from Tao Yue.

Passing by Tao Yue, he even heard the latter say, "So, you like this kind of thing?"

Originally, Rong Que didn't want to bother, but in order to provoke the other, he retorted, "It's Xiao Lu who likes to match with me."

Tao Yue's expression immediately stiffened.

Then, he took out his phone from the wardrobe and sent a message to his mom.

He also wanted to wear matching pajamas with Lu Xu.

Since they were new students, Lu Xu and Rong Que's beds were newly arranged and conveniently next to each other, with just the width of one person between them.

Lu Xu happily took photos with his phone and sent them to his older brother, Qi Sui.

Rong Que didn't notice that Tao Yue was feeling a bit troubled; he felt like he might have nightmares again.

However, in kindergarten, well-behaved children like Lu Xu probably wouldn't want to sleep with him.

During naptime, Teacher Li came over to help all the children tidy up their bedding. Then, she turned off the lights and stood guard at the door.

Rong Que glanced in the direction of the teacher, feeling a bit uneasy.

Their position was relatively far from the teacher, but the beds were low, and if Rong Que changed his position, he would easily be noticed.

Oh well, he thought, maybe he could hide under the blanket and play with his phone.

Giving up the struggle, Rong Que turned around, but was almost startled by a pair of red eyes on the bed edge.

Lu Xu had quietly slipped out from under the bed at some point and was crouching by the bedside.

"Don't be afraid, Rong Que gege. Xiao Lu is here to accompany you," Lu Xu whispered.

Rong Que was touched, but...

Lu Xu thought he was being very stealthy, unaware that Teacher Li was already standing behind him.

After glancing around, Lu Xu stretched his neck to look toward the teacher's position at the door.

Then he looked puzzled and said, "Huh, Teacher Li is gone. Rong Que gege, Xiao Lu is coming up to accompany you."

Thinking this, Lu Xu stood up stealthily.

Then he felt something heavy on his head.

"Hey, Rong Que gege, it seems like Xiao Lu can't stand up anymore. QVQ"
