It’s Exciting to Snatch the Supporting Male Lead and Run Away [Quick Wear] - 4

IETSTSMLARA | The Vicious Support Male Lead is a Bit Sweet | 4

Luo Fei was about to say something, but he heard Lin Tang speak up, "Alright, let's gamble..."

There was a smile on his face, but it carried a hint of bitterness, as if he were making a desperate last stand.

Luo Fei felt uneasy, but it was too late to stop it. Hu Jie clearly had ulterior motives. If Lin Tang really ended up sleeping with someone tonight, there would be no chance of him pursuing Sheng Hong in the future. Lin Tang was intoxicated now, but he would surely regret it when he sobered up.

Having played with Lin Tang for many years, Luo Fei knew all too well how deep his obsession with Sheng Hong was.

After getting up and stepping outside, Luo Fei mustered his courage and dialed a certain number.

The voice on the other end was rich, like the finest red wine, yet it carried a cold undertone. "What is it?"

"Sheng, Sheng Hong, Lin Tang made a bet with Hu Jie..." Luo Fei said, steeling himself. "About... sleeping together. If you don't come, he won't leave. Can you please come and pick him up?"

There was no response from the other end. After a while, the call ended. Luo Fei felt desolate inside. As he turned to go back in, he noticed a business car parked by the roadside. A figure in a suit stepped out, long legs striding forward. Luo Fei instinctively glanced over, and when he saw Lin Su, his eyes widened in surprise.

How did this young master end up here?

When Lin Su arrived, he had already checked a couple of bars. He inevitably smelled of alcohol. Seeing the dazzling lights of Max's Bar, he didn't hold much hope. As he was about to enter, he was suddenly stopped by a young man with red hair.

The young man was adorned with jingling accessories, his pants torn in countless places, and adorned with numerous rings. He approached with a mixture of urgency and complexity, surprising Lin Su for a moment. "Who are you?"

"Are you  Lin Tang's older brother?" Luo Fei approached. "Are you here to have fun too?"

"Not here to have fun, I'm looking for someone," Lin Su recalled Luo Fei vaguely. He was one of Lin Tang's friends, although he couldn't remember his name. "Is Lin Tang here?"

Hearing the question, Luo Fei was almost excited enough to cry. "Big brother, big brother, Lin Tang is inside. Please hurry and stop him. He's about to... with Hu Jie..."

Regardless of how they plan to arrange things for this young master of the Lin family, at least now Lin Su held the position of authority. He had a legitimate reason to take his younger brother away. He couldn't let him end up sleeping with someone for real.

Listening to Luo Fei's rambling, Lin Su gradually pieced together what had happened earlier.

Lin Tang had gambled dice with the young master from the Hu family. Initially, losing meant drinking, but now it meant something much more serious.

In the original timeline, there was indeed a similar incident, but it didn't happen as quickly. Lin Tang had gambled dice with the young master from the Hu family, and just as he was about to be taken away, the protagonist Sheng Hong rushed over.

Although he managed to take Lin Tang away, the impression of the supporting male lead's lack of self-respect was further reinforced. The originally deep childhood affection naturally diminished a bit more.

If it were just that, Lin Su could have turned around and left, letting Sheng Hong handle the aftermath. However, in the original timeline, Sheng Hong rushed over out of concern for Lin Tang, whom he had known since childhood. But Lin Tang mistakenly believed that Sheng Hong's actions were a sign of genuine affection, which only fueled his enthusiasm further.

With one becoming more annoyed and the other more passionate, such a situation couldn't be left unchecked.

As Lin Su approached the private room, he could already smell the alcohol emanating from within. The sound of dice rolling echoed, and everyone inside seemed lively and enthusiastic, except for Lin Tang. He was slumped on the sofa, cheeks flushed, eyes soft, looking every bit like a lamb among wolves in a den of hungry predators.

He wasn't lacking in self-respect; he just harbored expectations for Sheng Hong, perhaps with a hint of resignation.

Detestable, yet pitiful.

Inside the private room, a handsome yet somewhat sleazy young man gazed covetously at Lin Tang across from him. His voice carried a hint of affectionate teasing as he spoke, "Lin Tang, this is the third round. If you lose again, you'll really have to spend the night with me."

Hu Jie from the Hu family.

When the Lin family was still prosperous, Hu Jie coveted Lin Tang but didn't succeed. However, when Lin Tang fell from grace, Hu Jie took the lead in tormenting him. He was also the one who led the plan to drug Lin Tang which ended up making him jump from a high-rise building.

Lin Tang leaned against the sofa, clearly struggling to sit up straight. His gaze drifted towards the entrance of the private room, hoping to see someone who didn't arrive. When he didn't spot the person he was waiting for, the light in his eyes dimmed.

Lin Su noticed that gaze, and the feeling in his heart was indescribable. It was the look of someone who loved wholeheartedly, but unfortunately, it wasn't reciprocated. It was both pitiful and sad.

Luo Fei stood behind Lin Su, unsure why he didn't enter. But just as he was about to urge him, he met Lin Su's gaze through his glasses, and in that instant, all words died in his throat.

In the next moment, as Lin Tang was about to speak, the door of the private room was suddenly flung open, and a deep voice rang out, "Bet small."

The simplest way to play dice: bet on big or small.

The voice immediately drew the attention of everyone in the room. Lin Tang pursed his lips, while Hu Jie's expression soured. "Who are you?"

"Lin Su," Lin Su adjusted his tie slightly and smoothly pulled out a chair next to Lin Tang, sitting down. "I'm here to take my brother home."

His movements were confident and natural, leaving the person who was pulled up somewhat caught off guard.

Hu Jie knew Lin Su's identity, but he also knew he was an adopted son. He was not the biological son of the Lin family and didn't intimidate him. He sneered, "Can you really call the shots?"

If the cooked duck was flying away, he'd break this young master of the Lin family first.

Though intoxicated, Lin Tang recognized Lin Su and muttered, "You... what you say doesn't count."

However, his protest lacked conviction, sounding more coquettish.

Even though it wasn't Sheng Hong who had come, when Lin Su's imposing figure sat beside Lin Tang, he felt like crying. Being defiant was one thing, but he couldn't willingly accept being bullied by Hu Jie.

It's just that before, no one protected him. Now…

"I'm your big brother. What I say goes," Lin Su gently ruffled his hair. "Just listen to me."

His words were gentle yet firm, causing Lin Tang to pause. His defiant tone softened inexplicably. "But... you don't know how."

Lin Su didn't seem like someone who knew how to play dice. Could he be here to intentionally deceive him?

But before Lin Tang could say anything, Lin Su grasped his wrist and looked over at Hu Jie. "What's the matter? Aren't you going to proceed?"

Hu Jie's face darkened slightly, and he sneered, "Hmph, then don't regret it."

The dice were rolled, revealing a 1-2-2 combination, indicating a small result.

"Two losses and one win. Two more rounds," Hu Jie picked up the dice and began shaking them.

He didn't believe he could guess right every time.

As the dice settled, the previously lively private room fell into an eerie silence, contrasting sharply with the noise outside.

Lin Su didn't hesitate. "Small."

"You, at least, think about it," Lin Tang urged anxiously.

"How come you didn't think twice when agreeing to gamble your way into bed with someone?" Lin Su flicked his forehead with his finger. Lin Tang instinctively covered his head, about to mutter a response when the dice rolled.

Two-three-four, still small.

Two losses and two wins, a draw.

Hu Jie's face turned almost as dark as thunderclouds, his gaze at Lin Su extremely hostile. "So, Young Master Lin, you're here to spoil the fun, huh?"

Unlike Hu Jie's grim expression, Lin Tang's face displayed obvious surprise, tinged with a hint of trust. "You're quite... impressive," he remarked.

"Just a coincidence, it’s just on the third win," Lin Su replied. "Hu Jie, you needn't worry. If I win, I won't ask you to spend the night with me."

Although his words sounded considerate, they were actually a blatant mockery.

On the sidelines, Luo Fei listened in a daze. This was too audacious. He loved it!

Hu Jie's dice-shaking action seemed to carry a hint of aggression. As the dice landed on the table, he said, "Make your guess."

"Big," Lin Su replied.

The dice rolled out, revealing four, five, six—a big win.

With five rounds and three victories, Lin Tang emerged as the winner.

"You... you're really amazing!" Lin Tang exclaimed, his tone tinged with admiration, unaware of his own sense of awe.

"Let's go," Lin Su helped Lin Tang to his feet. Despite Lin Tang's delicate figure, his waist was surprisingly slender. Now, under the influence of alcohol, he resembled a soft, sticky marshmallow.

Just as they were about to leave the private room, they heard Hu Jie's cold voice from behind, "Young Master Lin, you're so good at this game. How can you leave after just two rounds?"

His words carried a provocation. Lin Feng's expression changed. There were many people on Hu Jie's side today. If he really started trouble…

"Sure, how do you want to play?" Lin Su sat back down.

He didn't respond to Luo Fei's pleading look, which made Luo Fei feel like dying.

Although the young master of the Lin family was good at guessing dice rolls, there were many ways to play dice. Lin Su might not necessarily win if they played another game.

"Have you ever played liar’s dice?" Hu Jie said with an unfriendly expression.

This kind of dice game was played by two or more people. Five dice were placed in a dice cup, and players took turns shaking the dice. The banker declared a number, and the other player decided whether to believe it or not. If they believed it, the turn passed to the next player; if they didn't, the numbers were checked. If the declared number matched the total of all the dice, the banker won; otherwise, the banker lost.

The game required a great deal of skill and sharp hearing. Could this young master Lin, who seemed to have never stepped foot in a bar before, handle it? Luo Fei looked at Lin Tang leaning against Lin Su's shoulder, half-dreaming and half-awake, with concern.

"I know the rules," Lin Su rolled up his sleeves. "What's the bet?"

"Drink if you lose, same as usual," Hu Jie replied.

"Who goes first?" Lin Su asked.

"Please, Young Master Lin," Hu Jie sneered.

Lin Su took the dice cup and gently shook it a few times, producing the sound of the dice flipping inside. It was unlike the others, who shook it vigorously as if they were afraid someone might not hear.

The dice cup hit the table, and everyone waited in suspense.

Lin Su spoke up, "Six ones. Believe it or not?"

There were five dice in the cup, which meant Lin Su had to roll four or five ones, and the others could only roll one or two.

Hu Jie still trusted his hearing. "I don't believe."

As the dice cup opened, everyone intending to cheer was left dumbfounded. Lin Su's dice displayed five ones, perfectly aligned, with just one short of a full house.

Hu Jie's expression changed abruptly as he saw that the dice cup next to him had exactly one one, fitting perfectly.

This couldn't be just luck.

"Hmm, Young Master Lin is quite skilled," Hu Jie gritted his teeth.
